For this second edition of Badiane Day, we wanted to invite our translators on an olfactory adventure at the very heart of our beautiful royal city. On the program: in the morning, a fascinating talk on the history of Versailles… in perfume. A very original way to learn about legendary characters like Louis XIV, Madame de Pompadour, or even Marie-Antoinette. In the afternoon, a workshop where we learned to make our own scented candles.
